My History

       I am a native of Union County, a graduate of Monroe High School.  I received a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Barber-Scotia College.  After  graduating college, I relocated to Florence, South Carolina where I lived for approximately seven years.  I returned to my roots in Union County, where I remain today.  I was employed with Union County Department of Social Services as a Children’s Services Social Worker for sixteen years.  A member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Society, I serve as a member of the NAACP.  Also, I am a Board Member of the American Red Cross.
